At LIFTS Together, we believe that education is the key to unlocking equity, opportunity, and lifelong success for all. Founded in 2024, our organization was born from a simple but powerful idea: every family and teen—regardless of background or circumstance—deserves access to the resources, mentorship, and support needed to thrive academically and beyond.

Who We Are

LIFTS Together (Leaders Inspiring Futures Through Support) is a Miami-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting students and families from underserved communities. Our mission is clear: empower the next generation through education, mentorship, and family-centered programming.

Our founders bring a unique blend of experience—combining years of classroom teaching, curriculum development, and organizational leadership. We know firsthand the challenges faced by students and families navigating the path to college, vocational training, and career success. That’s why we’ve designed our programs to meet families where they are, offering practical tools and real-world guidance every step of the way.

What We Offer

Our flagship initiative, the Pathways Program, is a six-week summer experience for students in grades 8–12. Delivered in a small-group, virtual setting, Pathways provides hands-on support with college applications, personal statements, financial aid, time management, and career exploration. Our goal is to make the journey to higher education—and fulfilling careers—accessible, understandable, and achievable.

In the coming years, we’ll expand to include Parental Academies, community resource connections, and, eventually, tutoring services. We’re committed to growing alongside our community, listening to their needs, and building programs that make a real difference.

Why It Matters

In South Florida—especially in Miami-Dade and Homestead—too many talented students face barriers that limit their potential. LIFTS Together exists to break down those barriers. We partner with charter schools, private schools, and local organizations, focusing on Title 1 schools and the foster care system to ensure our impact reaches those who need it most.

We envision a future where every student graduates not just with a diploma, but with a clear path forward—whether that’s college, vocational training, or a meaningful career. Our commitment doesn’t end at acceptance letters; we measure success by graduation rates, personal growth, and the strength of our community connections.
